There are two main airports that service Berlin: Tegel (TXL) and Schönefeld (SXF).
Tegel airport is the main airport and busiest of the two with over 15 million passengers passing through it each year. Tegel airport is situated in Tegel, part of the northern borough of Reinickendorf which is 8 miles North West of the capital city of Berlin.
Schoenefeld Airport is situated in Brandenburg on the Southern border of Berlin and is 11miles South East from the capital city. Although Schoenefield airport is less busy that Tegel, it still handles over 6.5 million passengers each year.
